What mitsi get cheap?

Ive had 2 1g dsm's, and all of them come with oil pressure and boost gauges, and that was about 15 years ago when they first came out. The evo as much as it is, doesnt come with nothing, yea I know its an option, but it should come standard.

I think manufacturers have learned how to make a little more money through the options.

And besides the "boost gauge" in the 1g/2g dsm's (as i owned a few) was GARBAGE from the factory... it was simply a needle that went up and down and had no way of possibly reading it

The DSM's also came with terrible SMIC's and undersized fuel pumps/injectors not to mention terrible IC pipe designs and weak clutch's and crank walk.

Those cars were badass for the time they came out. Yea the stuff they had wasnt upgraded like the evo, but those cars were built to do a different thing...btw crank walk is prone to the 2 g's, just as common in the 1g's as its in the evo, considering their using basically the same engine.

if they put them in youll just be paying for them anyway, think of it basicly as having an option for them not to put it in

no no no no no. crank walk is NOT as common in the 1g as in a 2g. not even close. u are also less prone to get crank walk in a 2g if its an auto then if its a stick, go figure.

the evo should NOT have crank walk issues at all, as im sure mitsu relized what they did on the 2g. the engine in the evo, 1g, and 2g, all share the same.... charicteristics (i know i butchered that spelling), but not the same. crank walk in the 2g's are very common problem, while its rare in the 1g, and no evo i know if has had it happen yet. and there are some high milage and abused evos out there.

hell, my 2g spyder gst got crank walk at 47k, with only a boost controller on it... go figure
