Ok I have only had my evo for about a month now and I have a dumb question. Yesturday I had an alarm installed and the dealer recommended this company to me so I went ahead and had them do the install for me. Well after they left I thought that it would be a good idea to go and make sure everything was fine (yea I know stupid me shopuld have checked well the tech was still here) So I fire up the car and my srs light is on and wont turn off. So last night I thought I will check and make sure everything is pulged in no loose connections and found none. So I call the company and tell them to come and fix it and their response to me was you need to find the airbag switch and have it reset. I am thinking airbag reset switch I have never heard of that before. I finally kept bugging the company and told them that they had to have crossed a wire and for them to fix my car or I was going to a shop of my choice and they were going to pay the bill so the agreed to come and look at the car. But my questions are:

Is there such thing as a airbag (srs reset switch)?
If the tech comes out and says all the wiring is fine what should I look for (need pointers on things to check before I take the car to the shop).

 

i think they might just come unplug your battery and plug it back in..

 

Tried that didn't work unless I did not leave it disconnected long enough

i had same issue and i have had my car for 2 years now stilli the same, ever since i got my compustar security installed. i dont really think ne hting of it, airbag aint gonna save me the way i see it, if you are strapped down in harnessess you are not movin am i right? but ya my lights on too. mitsu tried to tell me it was a wire I cut but i never cut ne thing!
