I got a ticket on the interstate doing my usual commute to work...funny thing is I was doing the same speed as the person in front of me, beside me and behind me. . The bull**** part is he flashes the guy behind me to get over so that he can pull me over. I won't say I wasn't speeding a little (not dangerously speeding) but I think that is incredibly gay how I get singled out for a ticket that everybody on the road should have gotten. Hell, it's not like I was doing anything that everybody on the road wasn't guilty of or like I was weaving in and out passing people (like I see idiots doing everyday. F**K!F**K!F**K! I've decided I will be taking this one to court...maybe I can get off on a first offense and the fact that rush hour traffic doesn't make it easy to target one person.

 

Sounds like crap to me. I'm sure you will beat it. Deep breath.....and.......exhale.

 

That's one of those really crappy situations. You were speeding, so it's a difficult call, but it's a bit (ok, more than a bit) crappy for a cop to pull over you when you're not the easiest one to pull. Typically, I'd think they would pull over the guy doing a few mph more, or the one they deem the *easiest*. Best of luck to you, hate to see people get pulled over just because they have cool cars.

 

that sucks. Most cops think they can get away by writin lame tickets cause they believe most ppl wont come to court, but you show him especially after what he pulled.

You should fight it but unfortunately chances are they will just tell ya tough luck, you were speeding so pay the fine. Its still complete bull **** though

 

yeah but I can probably pay a lesser fine and do driving school for first offenders...I know a friend that did that and he was doing worse than me. him 71 in 45...me 68 in 55.

 

You were speeding so you will be fine for that but since it is your first offense maybe you can get it reduce. Good luck with it...

 

Sorry to hear about the ticket. Go to court with money to pay the ticket since judge may reduce ticket if you pay that day.

profiling is really bad in ohio. I got a ticket too for the looks of the car. the reason I got off was the cop didnt complete the ticket properly and my lawyer was free.

It was the first time I publicly got to tell the cop in a nice way how I felt. the judge was nice too.

 

Sounds almost like the ticket I got last week.

I was driving up I-25 from Albuquerque to Denver in a pack of cars going 85 or so. There was a blue Durango ahead of me going at least 90, and I decided not to follow him. Not 15 seconds after the Durango speeds off ahead of me I notice flashing lights behind me. The cop pulls me over, and Durango gets away. I didn't argue with the cop, because I was speeding. But I figured the cop took one look at my car and decided I needed the ticket more than the Durango.

Oh well.

I've gotten two ticket now in last 6 months. And that's how long I've owned my Evo!

I'm not speeding anymore than I used to in my previous ride! And my evo is RS, supposed to be low visibility w/o wing and bling...

Second time, cop pulls me over after trailing me for 2 miles on my ****, I had to burst a little onto the road to merge and he claimed I was doing 75 at 55 zone.

And the dick lets the TL speed back there and trails me for 2 miles while I'm doing legal along w/ other cars. THis is clearly harressment, profiling big time. Freaking pigs!

He says "you're speeding....blah...75 on 55"
me: "I TOTALLY DISAGREE!"
PIG: "I'll be back"
Me: "thinking hurry up, so I can get my satisfaction at the court, first I paid $700 to bribe the pigs in VA and now this in MD!"
PIG: comes back "OK, I'll let you go w/ warning today"
Me: totally unexpected " thank you very much...pig"

Moral of the story, pigs profile our Evos bigtime!!!

 

Post up the pics of the drive back... I think you have the road trip of the year. Anyone remember the big snowstorm on Monday that pretty much blanketed I-25 from Denver to Texas? He drove right thru it. On summer tires.

 

God, i hate COPS (the real terrorist).
