the evo 8 front bumper is the peak of sexy automotive design and creativity, anything changed on future models will only degrade what they have accomplished

so... yes, i hate the new one

 

I like the evo 9 bumper much more....its not as rounded as the evo 8 and has better lines. I love how it comes to a point in the middle also. Also, no more queer pontiac triangle . If the holes can be used for brake ducts, that would be f-in awesome.

 

no likey... but they serve a purpose right? so i guess that's o.k....
i think they coulda done a better job with it though... makes the car look wayyyyy too cartoony

 

don't mind holes, but hate the split grill on our 8.

Drop the Evo IX down an inch or two and it will look better. I'm probably going to buy one in BLACK

 

comparing the evo 9 to the evo 8. side to side in any angle. the evo 8 is fugly, not just ugly. ill take the evo 9 anyday. the evo 8 has that pontiac wannabe grill. it almost looks like the Pontiac Vibe. now the evo 9 is a sexier looking beast.

 

well the evo 8 looks like it wants to be owned by pontiac .

 

didnt like it at first but after seeing this one its starting to grow on me. Eventually you will get bored of the 9 bumper.

i kinda do, but i think i'd rather like to see the intercooler pipes like in the 8

 

I really like the IX's bumper...a lot.

LOL. You guys crack me up. I'm sure those holes are not there just for cosmetics. The Evo is in BAD need of brake ducting: the brakes absolutely fall apart on the track from overheating so badly. Those holes look like the openings to brake ducts to me...and if that's the case then I'm 100% for it.

For the record, I still think the Evo 7 front and rear fascia is MUCH better looking than the 8 or 9.
