the last installment if you'd call it that said that dave would be trying to put hte normal 20g from the dsms on there with a new cast mani taht would fit the t3 flange (i think it's t3, can't remember). but he's not gonna do that until he has time... he's prepping for competition now.

they're gonna get these new manis made... so one cast mani for the br kits and one cast mani for the common aftermarket turbo (very exciting).

I thought all of this stopped? He put a 20G on there and tested it and it didn't work at all.

it didnt work? damn what else would u guys suggest for a BOLT ON turbo upgrade? Bolt on meaning all thats required is an upgraded fuel pump, injectors, ECU flash, and all the BPUs i pretty much have... i'll probably get a turbo outlet, 3in downpipe, and new IC pipes.

OEM EVO 6.5 RS Tommi Makinen Edition Turbo or a turbo from a 2005 EVO MR.

TME turbo is probably your best option (it's a little expensive, however).

it didn't work... that's why i said what i just said... they're putting the normal one there instead of trying to mirror engineering everything. the one that spins the "normal" way.

Do you mean FP as in FP Green/Red? I haven't heard of these turbo's being offered for the EVO's. Hmmm, sounds interesting. I think the stock turbo is the best option unless you want above 400whp. Turbo lag is a *****.

Turbo lag on the TME turbo shouldn't be worse than stock, really.

actually the TME 6.5 turbo has LESS turbo lag, has the 10.5T and titanium fins which allows the fin to spin faster and spools up about 700-800rpms FASTER than the stock 16G we have. I'll probably just go with the TME instead of the 20G cuz it meets my expectations of super fast spool up (even faster than stock!), better top end, and capable of 400whp which i am aiming for daily driven.
