The problem with this statement is that Cam'ron is not a lyricist. He has never claimed to be either. Just like most of Roc-A-Fella Records (other than Jay-Z) he is a rapper/hip hop artist. He raps over tracks that have a good beat and can be played in the clubs. Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Sage Francis, Aesop Rock, 2Pac, etc. these are lyricists. They are 2 totally different styles and very hard to compare. And in the broad scale of things, there are rappers far worse than Cam'ron. Have you ever sat and actually listened to a Little Jon album or the Eastside Boyz, Little Scrappy etc. Cam'ron atleast has a distinct flow, he isnt just yelling into the mic. This is not meant to start a music argument about whos right and whos wrong, I am just pointing out that just because Best Buy or Camelot music places it all in the same section, does not mean that they are. Sometimes people just like to listen to "pop" rap.
