Newb question (Help me out), GSR vs MR
Newb question (Help me out), GSR vs MR
I've never really understood what is different between the two. I may seem like a total nub, but ovbiously im trying to learn.
So if you guys could let me know what the differences are and what they do, like I know the MR comes with things the GSR doesnt but I have no idea what these things help with???
Thanks
EDIT: Also, are the differences the same in the 05's from MR to GSR as the differences in the 06 IX MR to GSR?

both cars are great, i drive a 05 MR and I also had 03 Evo, MR has better shock made by Bilstein, MR has aluminum roof, lightweight door beam, so is the RS. light weight BBS wheels, 6 speed close ratio transmission which i like it the most. the ride on the MR is better and since MR has aluminum roof, the center of gravity is lowered, which makes the handling better. MR also comes with accessory like gauge, aluminum pedals.

I'm not making my decisions based on that, but if the MR isnt better then the GSR by enough for it to be a clear decision, if I'm not going to be racing at all, I would much rather have leather, then be able to take turns a little faster
By the way, I'm not disrespecting the MR at all, if I was going to be dragging or anything I'd much rather take the MR, but the 6 spd and the overall upgrades wont make a difference to me all of that much. Comfort on my drives will be important to me though.
If you keeping everything ( or almost stock ) go with the MR.
If you think you will start changing coilover and rims... you might consider other than MR.
Of course bone stock MR is the best.
But depend of the driver, up to you.
MR or GsR or Rs = Great car, so you can't go wrong

If your not racing much and want comfort, go for the MR.
ok if u want to know all the diff between the GSR, the regular evo, and the MR car and driver released an artical matching up all 3 side by side its a 4 page tech talk on it with many comparisons between the 3 if i find the artical ill post it
You don't like the Bilstein shocks, lighter rims, aluminum parts, or vortex generators? Strange...
