Newb question (Help me out), GSR vs MR
Each to their own.
I'm a bit ambivalent about the vortex generator (bit tacky really, even if it is functional at 130 mph), but am quite enamoured with the 6 speed, Al roof panel, Bilsteins and the top-notch forged BBS wheels (hate the Enkeis). If I buy a IX, I'll be opting for the MR.
Not sure where you get the extra 7gs from....unless you're comparing it against the RS?

When i got mine, I had to make a serious desicion. i wanted leather and a moonroof, but really liked the graphite grey. i bought my car over the net so i couldn't compare the 2 cause my local dealer had neither the SSL or the MR. i decided that leather was better in the long run and got black. Now if the MR would have been available w/ leather, i probably would have gotten it instead. Yes I know the MR is faster but i don't drive 10/10ths every day.
