Well, my take on it is that it is sort of an insulte to the Subaru guys.... why show up if the attitude of the guy putting on the event is "All you subaru's are to slow to be worth watching, so your Q8 winner only gets half the prize of the Mitsubishi Q8 winner". If you aren't going to be treated with the same respect as the Mitsubishi guys why show up?

The prize listing above is going to be changed guys. I agree, the listing as it has been posted is very very lop sided. I just got the list and got it from here. Al and I have both been very busy.

I will post the listing here in a few minutes as how we are going to actually break this down.

Here, I added some prizes from here to go along with what has been posted to even this all out some. BTW, in the past for our DSM/EVO shootout the prizes have always been very small, usually just a trophy. In the end nobody remembers what was paid out as these small races I don't feel it is what brings us all together. It is the fact that we continue to get together, see friends you made from years past and just having a good time. I have never heard talks of so and so won this much last year, it isn't even thought about. The prizes posted for this race are larger and more of them than I have ever used in any of the races we organized in the past.

I want to truly thank, Exedy, AMS, AEM and Toyo for helping us out with this, it is a much appreciated added bonus.

Here is how we will actually distribute the prizes for this race:

EVO vs WRX
1st place, Exedy Twin Disc clutch + $200
2nd place, Buschur Racing 3" catback + $100
3rd place, Buschur Racing 3" downpipe + $50

Mitsubishi Q8
1st place, (4) Toyo RA1 tires + $100
2nd place, AMS intake manifold

Subaru Q8
1st Place, (4) Toyo RA1 tires + $100
2nd place, AEM intake

Bracket
1st place, $200
2nd place $100
3rd place $50.

All classes 1st-3rd place also get a trophy specially labeled for this 1st annual event.

Thanks guys,

David Buschur

It is $35 for the car and driver to enter one of the classes, you can only run one class.

Thanks. Clarified a few things for me since I thought one can run 2 class.
