Evo vs G35
the exhaust on the g doesnt do much for the car at all,my bestfriend has one and has done extensive research on it so that is not an issue. we raced at the trackand i had an intake and that was it,he ran a 14.6,so you decide, shouldnt be a problem though.just go for it.

Thats what i'm wondering...
If the G35 isn't F/I, don't even think twice about it. I raced a G35 with intake and exhaust when I was stock and I killed him from a roll, don't even think about from a dig.
I would think anyone willing to put down $1000 on any race would at least have some confidence in thier driving and thier car...and know it's limitations. It takes more than a faster car to win. I watched a stock Evo get killed by a minor bolt on Celica last summer....3 runs in a row. Evo's launch was embarrasing, and gears seemed hard to come by. I watched another Evo pull a 17sec quarter mile (yep, 17). Problem is too much inexperience expecting the car to do all the work. If you want to shut him up for free with no risk, just spend a little time at the track and get a good time slip....challenge him to beat that.
