Gas in the oil?

About 3 weeks ago, day after I changed my oil I pick my car because it was getting looked at. As soon I pull out the uicp that connects to the manifold fell off, at the very moment I didnt know it was this. So i roll back into the shop wanting to know wtf it is. So they had me start the car and it ran for about a min., running like crap rich as ish, popped the hood looked around nothing, until I looked and saw the hose fell off. Put it back on ran like crap for 2 secs. than ran normal. Recently I checked the oil and it smells like gas...bad. Was this cause by the uicp fallling off? Im guessing I should get the oil changed right away.

Oil smelling like gas can either be a bad head, which i doubt it, or the car was running rich.

Gas in oil...
Blow by caused by worn rings. Or might be as simple as replacing PCV valve.

so no one think its because of the car running rich as hell for a minute or 2( you could smell fuel like crazy, black smoke galore) because the hose fell off?

With air going straight into the throttle body and no reading as to how much air from the maf caused you to run rich. I wouldn't worry. Change the oil and if it smells like gas again then you start to worry. You probably flooded the poop out of it letting it run for a couple minutes like that. Normally the car will stall when a pipe disconnects.

yea the car did stall, but those nuckle head mechanics cranked it for like 15-20 seconds until it did start and they let it run for a min. I could tell it was flooded like crazy, because it took a couple second to clear up after i reconnected the pipe, hopefully thats the reason why, cause i dont have money nor do I feel like dealing with a dealership.
