I just got a defi D boost gauge goes to 35 psi can figure out how to read it right. if u count from the first mark and make it one when your on 5 thats 4 and if u count from 5, # 10 is # 9 if u look at the pictures of one there all like that, but all the other series rnt like that does anyone know the anwser to this maybe there not in 1 psi incriments

 

I never really noticed that, but I just took a look at one. It goes up in increments of 1.5 psi. Dont know why, but thats all you need to know to read it right.

 

actually, it goes up in steps of 1.25 psi.

yea there are only 3 tick marks in between 5,10,15 and so on. Each tick mark is 1.25 psi. Dunno why they did that, but it is annoying. I wish I'd known about it before I got the guage.

 

I had one in my 03 and it never bothered me. I never spent enough time staring at it while driving under any boost to care if it was 18.75 or 19 psi...but that's just me. I just used it to make sure I wasn't hitting 25 psi and that I was getting normal boost readings. I can see how it could be annoying if you pay a lot of detailed attention to it though.
