San Antonio Meet afterthoughts....
To all who showed up it was really great meeting you. This was so much better than the one we had last November. The cars looked great lined up at Chili's and I only wish I would have gotten a picture there. Unfortunately about half didn't make it to the track so I missed my opportunity to have a picture with over a dozen really nice rides!
Bob, thanks for introducing me to Mohammed. It doesn't look like it's going to happen any time soon with my upper IC pipe, since they are just SO busy. Hopefully I'll be able to make other arrangements and then possibly have them dyno tune it for me with the alky kit.
Mike (Blitzblaster), thanks for the quick tutorial of how to stage and launch. I still need a lot of work, but was happy with my 13.1 ET with my stock clutch. Could smell it a little afterwards and probably should wait until I can put in an ACT to inspire a little confidence. I'll be giving you a call after the weekend to find out about your friend in Austin.
To everyone else, you are all a great bunch of guys and I'm looking forward to the next meet. I think it would be really cool to do it on a Sunday afternoon when the San Antonio Sports Car Club is running one of its autocrosses out at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater. They do fun runs usually at the end of the day, around 3-4 pm and it would be really cool to see a herd of wild EVO's giving it hell out there. Worth a few pictures anyway!
See you all soon,
Tony

Likwise, thought it was an excellent turn out, my son can't stop talking about it. had crappy times at the track though ran a 14.2 then a 13.8 and both 60 ft. were my worse 2.3 and a 2.1, could not get off the line.
Well hopefully this will turn out to a monthly meet and it was great to meet so many evo owners did not have a clue there were so many evos in SA. See you later, Joe
