This 13.13 reminds me of the quoting of a 12.9 out of an LS1 stock... we all have heard about it, but none of us have seen anyone pull it off in real life (more like high 13s!)... the test drivers must have been badass, perfect conditions etc.
Now if we could get one of those test drivers to run the EVO!!!

Since I don't feel like doing 7 Seperate posts, here are links for the R&T March 2003 Evo article. Sorry no HQ scans (buy the frickin magazine people) and i'm not going to clean them up or rotate cuz i'm lazy.
I Didn't bother to scan the 4 page "evolution" special with the pics of the tarmac evo or the RS, GTA, and HKS Evo VII.

Anyone else notice that the only articles worth reading in R&T are written by Sam Mitani even though he apparently can't launch an AWD car?

hkenshin, I noticed your sight is on soldats.net; is that the anime subbing group Soldats? If so, goodjob (abeit it's been some time since the group worked on it) on the Noir dubbing.

Impreza01,
Yes i'm from the anime fansubbing group soldats. I started the group in college with a couple of friends. Noir was my project :P
FYI Noir is coming out on dvd in america (in part thanks to the buzz we created with anime fans) this month. The first disc comes out a week from Tuesday, with additional discs every other month.
Sorry for the OT post.

Ya, a 13.13 from a STOCK Mach1 does seem like a stretch, but it was actually in a Mustang mag ... which one I dont' know because I don't read Mustang mags!

I picked up a different Mustang mag and found another article of the STOCK Mach1... because of a wreck at the drag strip, they only got a few passes out of the car and posted a 13.29 @ 105!!!
Not only that, but in some magazine, maybe the same one, they compared the 01 Cobra dyno specs vs the 03 Mach 1 and found that the Mach 1 actually makes more horsepower!!!
FYI

on the svt board a mach 1 posted 275hp at the rear wheels... pretty good, but not quite the 360+ that the cobra's are putting down. Of course the Mach I is lighter, but..... I still think 13.2 is a stretch.

Well, my assumption that the 13.13 @ 105 was similar to the 12.9s that LS1s werer "suppossed" to run may be incorect.

Actually with a strong driver it's not a stretch. I ran a 13.41 at 103.59 mph in my heavier 99 Cobra Convertible on a rather warm day. The car posted 280ish at the rear wheels.
