I was launching at 5000-5500 with a slight slip of the clutch/flooring method. My 1/8 mile was 7.79@87.2 mph. Does anyone want to post my slips? I can E-mail pics of them and some of the races if someone wants to post them, sorry I don't have the time right now to figure out how to post them myself. Thanks for all the words of encouragement, I was pretty proud of the car.

I am thinking there are some timing light issues w/ the track. Those numbers seem WAY too good for bolt on power. Is it impossible, no.....just very improbable. The mph is fine, but the ET's are straight nasty. Esp. that 12.5@100mph, that means you were on your way to a LOW 12 and then you let off, that is INSANE for a bolt on car. I am not trying to sound like a hater, but I have about 7yrs of drag experience and I am having a hard time matching those ET's w/ that mph.

Edit: Please email your slips to mcgowmd@auburn.edu I will host them on my website for you. It is possible you have one HELL of a factory freak.

You ought to take it on a road course. EVOs go around turns pretty good too.

1.8t I sent you some pics of my slips and some of the races. I don't know how to explain the times but all the other cars that day were running there normal e.t.'s. I did notice I got my best times when I shifted early, like 6900rpm, so I think I am loosing some power up top which may account for the low trap speed's I honestly don't know though.

actually if he gets an Ecutek flash he can run 2 fuel maps. OR he could have Al reflash him for race gas like i did on the '03.

Hey, thanks for posting the pics. The silver STI was running 12.9's and the blown El Camino was running low 13's. I ended up bogging the STI run and pulled a 13.1.

I'm running Hankook Ventus II's. Only $415 installed at Discount Tire.

The only problem with getting it reflashed is that its my daily driver. There isn't any way to flash it with two different fuel maps is there? All we have around here is 92 octane so I am afraid to get to aggresive of a flash or run a very high boost. Just out of curiosity does anyone know high much octane those octane boost products add? Most of them don't give any #'s. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to add some before racing just for some added safety.

Nice runs NIevo, i might have to come up to spokane (I take it that is where you were, no other track around that I know of in your area) to watch you run. I am in the tricities.
