So i drove up to TurboTrix this weekend to get my car tuned, and Shiv was there to tune my car along with many others. With my mods I pulled 327whp and 312wtq! I am very happy with the results, and only now can i realize and appreciate Shiv's experience with these cars. The car is running peak boost at 24psi tapering to a minimum of 21 at WOT. My evo was transformed into a monster in about 40 minutes! Just thought i'd give some credit to where it's due. I see you're from MD too. I went upto TT last week just prior to Vishnu sessions. With my 272 straight installed w/ TT flash got 299whp but I have hiflow cat.

I wonder if the cat made that much diff?

Can you pm me about Vishnu's flashing cost?

That's an initial spike that happens with the initial buildup of boost and tapers to 20-21 psi by redline. I have my aem tuned the same way with the stock turbo.

 

WTF? Am I the only thats getting 10% less with a cat?

With 272/272 and flash and I should of gotten similar to yours.

Can you shed more detail:
- which cat, stock, magnaflow, catco, random?
- do you have resonator?
- which TBE?
- do you have camgear?
- stock or aftermarket intake?

was 24psi on pump gas? How much did Shiv's flash cost?

 

yea 24 psi is on the stock turbo, Shiv says its totally fine. His flash and dyno time cost $675 in total, but its a rarity that he comes to the east to tune, maybe 2 times a year. Yes it was on pump gas, and 322 with a cat sounds about right, my friend pulled 323 with stage 1+ with an Ultimate Racing cat. My A/F ratio is at 12 throughout the whole rpm range, the car performs beautifully, Shiv is the man. btw, 24 psi is a bit more than a spike, it stays there for about 2K rpms then tapers to about 21- 22.

 

I pulled 336 w/ 264i/272e & 10.5 Hotside on Friday.
