Hey guys check this out. Today I went to pick the brochure of EVO, I read it very closely and guess what I found. They want to give us the sports pedals for free. If you don't believe go and check it out, just read very closely second to the last page, especially underneath the picture with the front allow strut tower brace.

If you don't have a brochure go to the "Full Evo Brochure From Mits!" forum and you can find it there as well, but the wording is a little bit blurry.

I don't see how that means we're getting them for free... It says...

Dang. Its worth a shot, right? Or do you have to be buying an Evo. That would be my guess.

 

You are smoking crack, right Bexa 20? The statement you are pointing out is obviousy a sarcastic/ humerous one. You are being rewarded with the "information" that the blue pedals are made from the metal of a mythical creatures weapon....you are not being rewarded with the actual pedals.

Well, they don't tell you they are joking right, they say they will reward you. Exact meaning of reward from Webster Dictionary is "something that is given in return for good or evil done or received and esp. that is offered or given for some service or attainment" So my service to them is buying the car. Anyway you can define it however you want, it's worth trying if you want anything for free. And for those of you who don't want it you don't have to mention it, simple as that.

 

Your reward is the silly kernel of knowledge about the supposed origins of the metal that make up the blue pedals.

Those micro captions were obviously written to mimic MAD magazine, and the little extra bits of info Maxim magazine throws in the margains of its magazine. They are silly and light-hearted.

Are we really at the point in this world where people have to say they are joking for people to get the joke? That is absurd if it is true. IMHO, it doesn't take a high level of reading skills to see that they are not in any way offering free blue pedals.

And by asking at the dealership, you will be doing nothing but making yourself out to look like a fool.

Well I see right now that few of you doesn't know how to joke, you want to live by the rule of thumb let it be. I can always joke about it and quote what they wrote, I'm not saying I'll get it, but I wont if I'm not going to try it. Stop beeing so sarcastic, and give yourself some break. We live in america and if you know how to aproach people they give you what you ask for, it's called bargain. : :
