Your only advantage is the launch and make it a light to light race.... Put some race gas raise the boost a bit.
The shorter the race the better.... Those things are so fast up top .
That cobra has really nice mods maybe 440 whp?

first think why would you want to race someone you know
if he kicked yoru butt you gonna have a bad taste in your mouth everytime he see you
if you owned him the same goes for him
keep the work relationship then runie it
besides what do you have to prove? just tell him he is faster when you have THE BETTER car

He's running mid 12's to possible low 12's in the 1/4. In the 1/8 you'll be just about even (you might be up by a car length. Then he's gonna pull the SH#T out of you!!!!

On the street with a shorter run it'll be close since I can't imagine it's easy to hook up all that power for him.
You should tell him you'll meet him at a real race track, not the 1/4 mile. You could probably body roll and brake fade him pretty bad on a middle length track.
