Last year's event had a pretty impressive turnout, but, there were very few Evo's lining up to race. Unless the parking lot is the staging lane this year, everyone with anything done to their Evo should be there showing everyone how amazing the Evo really is. Don't be scared! Prizes are awarded for heads up and bracket winners and believe us, they are definately worth racing for! EVERYONE should run that Saturday. Tell your Mom and Dad you won't be home for dinner, break up with your girl, skip your court date for street racing, JUST BE THERE!

They need to post more information like the classes, the price, the time (assume 9-4), the prizes, etc etc. I'm traveling up to Long Island that weekend, and I could stop by on Saturday if I felt the urge, since I'll be heading up the NJ Pike anyway. I'd need to have more info first, though.

Not alot of evo's raced last year prob because they were so new.. Anyway, i hope more race this yr. Last time was a great turn out , this yr there are alot more prizes for clases. Hope to see you all there..

Mark, can you provide more info? You say there are more prizes for classes, but I don't see a list of classes, prizes, or times. If you could answer my questions above, that would be great, because then I might stop by on my way to LI.

I thought this was MOD that they were talking about.... wheew I got scraed and thought I was going to have to race the EVO and not just show it....

 

There will be a quick 16 class for EVO's, a quick 16 for DSM's, and two bracket classes. Everyone will run time trials in the morning. They will take the fastest 16 EVO's and the fastest 16 DSM's and put them into their own quick 16. The rest will run brackets, those two classes are 12.99 and quicker and 13.00 and slower. There are a lot of great prizes this year. The event runs from 9am-3pm. We are hoping that there will be more EVO's racing this year than in the parking lot like last year. Hope to see everyone there.

Thanks, then I might just come. I'm stock, but there's a decent chance of getting in the top 16 with a 12.9x, I suppose. During the heads up quick 16, anything can happen, although being #16 basically requires that #1 break (not that unlikely, I guess).

I also like that those who don't qualify for the quick 16s get put directly into brackets. I've had to pay separately for each before, and that's no fun.
