What did you put down? APR? Monthly payment?

Hey everyone. I had once lost my love for Mitsubishi, but recently regained it with the release of the upcoming IX. I was searching and only found this one post. My post sort of related to this one: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=132271

Except I had a different question. I realize some of this information may be personal to you and I would take no offense if you refused to post it on a public web forum. I'm looking at either the base 05 IX which is supposed to be going for an estimated $30,999 or the IX MR (doubtful) for $35,999.

I was wondering what some of you paid out for your Evo VIII. More in detail though:

·How much money did you put down?
·What was your interest rate?
·What was the total amount you financed?
·What is your monthly payment?
·For those who got a low interest finance, what was your beacon rating? (I realize this may be out of line)

Thank you in advance for any information you can provide.

2) 3.99%
3) $35,974.68 (MR MSRP+tax/tag/title - $500 loyalty rebate
4) $663.03 (5 years/60 months)
5) Never heard of a beacon rating, so I don't know what it is, but I use USAA for all financial matters.

Insurance on the MR is about $900/year or $75/month. 29, married, no accidents or tickets.

You did a 6 year loan ($435/month) at a high rate (6.14) on a used car ($26,300 for an 03 including tax, tag, and title)? Oof.

What's up guys. I just bought my car this past weekend and was going to post something up on another thread, but since I saw this post, here goes.
I got what I thought was a smokin deal!!!!

$1000 UNDER INVOICE

I put $2500 down
4.1 % interest
payments of $531.00

If anyone needs a really good deal on a new EVO PM me and I will try to hook it up.

I still fail to understand how people are getting deals under invoice. I can understand $1000 under MSPR, but invoice? Chevy dealers don't even sell crappy cavaliers for 1k under invoice, so why would a Mitsu dealer sell an Evo for 1k under invoice. They're just losing money. Kickbacks and manufacturer's incentives don't add up to 1k. Maybe if a dealer was in dire straights or had a ton of new-year models coming soon it would make sense, but otherwise...?

Warrtalon,

That is exactly why I bought the car. I did my research on KBB.com and this forum before I bought the car. The dealer explained to me there process before I accepted the deal. It took me 4 hours to trade in my other car, but they were willing to give under invoice pretty quick about $28,000. I had a car broker offer me $700 under MSRP and that was supposed to be a smoking deal, but I would of had to pay him a $300 fee.
Like I said if anyone wants one for invoice or Under feel free to PM me. They have 15 of these left currently.

I'm confused. You are talking about some strange process some dealership has for selling under invoice? Sounds weird. You also traded in a car? If you trade in at time of purchase, you can't really claim a purchase price. It oscillates between the trade-in and the new car as far as value goes. Are we to assume you got full value for your trade-in? Depending on the car, trade-in value is far below private party value, which is what you could get when selling to an individual.

This would be a smokin' deal if:

(a) The purchaser negotiated a price of $28k on a brand new "GSR" VIII without mentioning he had a trade, then
(b) Subsequently told them about the trade and got them to pay him the KBB price that was equal to a private party sale.
