$2,500/yr is still a lot... I pay $960/yr and I'm 21. Comes to about $80 a month.

EDIT: I have had tickets in the past in other cars, but none in the evo. Knock on wood.

Probably not. Most people refer to racing on the street (whether drag street racing or whatever) as street racing. The people I talk with who go to the track, either say they're going to a drag race (the 1/4 track), or the road track (road course). Anyway, he probably was meaning that taking the car to the track is legal.

30mph over isn't hard in some places. There are a few stretches of road in my area that are wider than most interstates and rarely have traffic yet are still 30mph. I bet most of you guys could do 60-70mph and not think anything of it. If I have time I'll take pics and you'll see what I mean. 4 lanes wide in each direction and nothing but trees and county parks on both sides.

That being said I take no chances and only drive fully cloaked using my Valentine 1.

Greyevo, why not ditch the MR and pick up an RS. The cost differential + insurance hike is probably about the same or less than your old payments. Sacrificing power windows to be able to stay in an Evo? WELL worth it!

Seriously, at 2500 a year he's probably under 21. Heck, here in Cali I pay about 100 bucks a month and I'm 34 (as of today ).
