Those with aftermarket fuel pumps

I've been getting alot of messages on how to rewire the fuel pump. So I made a little diagram. This should help a little with noise problems, but those without the black foam cover should seek one out because it helps ALOT.

This will also ensure your new fuel gets the voltage it deserves. Low voltage conditions can and will damage electric components. You can imagine blasting the radio, with the HID's on and everything else going can leave the pump starving for voltage.

Onto the writeup, Admins may want to sticky for the howto section, but I wanted to post here as this forum is where the questions arise.

List of materials
30 amp automotive relay
Spool of 10 gauge wire
4 female spade connectors(to connect the wires to the relay
May want to buy connectors for the wire going to the battery, and for the ground wire
Wire cutters
Crimpers, pliers work

Note: Do nothing to the stock negative wire

Ok, here's the diagram, it's self explainatory, please post if you have questions.

the evo's pump is supposed to be wired directly to the battery. i've heard of re-wiring for 1g and 2g dsm but not the evo. shouldn't have to because of how it is supposed to be wired already. also has a relay there so when you are past a certain throttle point the relay switches it to a higher voltage than what it is at 0% throttle.

You don't have to rewire Evo's;
