I'd say 1 or 4.

Why didn't you just get 4 of them?

Jeff (is kidding)

I put my NPT in 2. I see them in 2 most of the time. 2 1/2 or 3 inches out from the block.

Mine's in runner 2. The write up on EvoMoto said that was the hottest runner. Although thinking about it now, it may be best to put at the collector. I wonder how much coller the temps would be at the collector as opposed to one of the runners. Wouldn't that give a better representation of what's going on?

OK, maybe a noob answer but Buschur put in my Defi BF EGT gauge and they used the closest to the passenger side (1 or 4 dunno). Hope that helps...

I would think that would defeat the purpose of the EGT. By the time the temps rise enough in your downpipe for you to notice it, it's already too late for your cylinders. Just a thought.

My DEFI BF EGT is tapped where #1 and #2 meet. I think it reads a bit on the high side there.

thanx for all your help guys.

i decided either runner #1 or runner #2, so i chose #2 so i wouldn't have to cut the arc titanium heat shield.

thanx again,
john
