Question '03/'04 EVO prices this fall & next spring?

What should they be down to?

Right now, cheapest ones in my area are asking around $22k.

I want to get a new DD later this year or next & the EVO & STi are on my list, but the prices need to come down.

They won't really come down that much. Even with the IX, not that many people are trading up, maybe a few '03s will, but most just say "I can mod my car and have more horsepower than that" or "I like my bumper better!"

I won't be trading. Since the Evo is not a high production car, the prices should float for a while. Eventually they will go down.... hopefully not for a long... long time, though!

there should probably be a slight decrease once the IX comes out to the new VIII's still on the lot, but dont think it is going to affect the used car market much

I think my dealer is living on some alternate planet. They have 2 03 evo's on their lot. A rally red with 2500 miles, stickered at, get this $28,900 which is what I paid for my 03 rally red evo with 5 miles on it, almost a year ago! And a Silver 03 evo with 20,000 miles on it for the special low low price of, ready for it, $27,850. That's right folks, for a mere $1000 less you can have a car with 20+k miles on it. I think they are crazy, I don't even want to know what price they have the white MR that has been sitting on their lot for a good 4+ months now.

I'm hoping they get to $20k or at least $21k so I could haggle down to $19k or so
