Could someone help me get this english mag article posted... it has evo sliding ect and more info...the boards telling me the file is too large!!! common anyone it says the evos quicker than the STI on the skid pan....can I e-mail to someone that can resize it and post?

 

No replies to my plea for help? after 90 hits....this is a mag in England called 'EVO' and they have actually tested the car.... some pics of US Evo in power slides and 0-60 ect.ect THey have rated it better than the new STI and mentioned that UK and Jspec tires would be a softer compound than the US market...I would post it if someone will reply and help me out here!!!

Until you find a place to post, can you tell us what the article said? Did they like it alot? And are you sure it's not the JDM Evo 8? Evo's editors are very honest so if it is a review of the U.S. Evo, please tell us their 0-60 number and if they feel the U.S car has any drawbacks. Thanks

 

I will try to do something when I get home tonight (EST) yes they liked it a lot ....the pictures they have are of the US spec but they apparently writing about the JSpec or both....great pics of US spec power sliding! 0-60 4.8 they say that the US evo has 50kg more in the nose and the tail....just because of those beams...man I hope you can just remove those easily

I think they are for the jspec although the article is quite confusing.. as I said it has pictures of the US evo and a report about what seems to be all of the markets, because they mentioned the beams.........they where praising the evo against the STI saying that subaru raised the bar with the STI and has successfully risen to the challenge, they seem to like the five speed better than the six speed and coment that they feel it was not really needed it was just introduced to be seemingly on par with subaru......you are not pestering me, I appologise for the delayed response I have trouble getting on line at work....

 

Which issue of EVO is this? I get the mag periodically, and have an older one with an STi vs EVOVII article. I have a fairly recent issue (Feb/03)with an R32 artivle, but no EVO.
