For all you autocrossers, what class would an 03' Evo be in, if the ONLY modification is a boost controller set to 19.5psi?

take the boost controller off if thats your only mod and race in A stock. the gains of a boost controller alone are negligable compared to the types are cars you'll be racng in Street mod.

 

Yea, I know. But it's such a hassle to do it for one race. I also didn't know A-stock would allow so many mods on that list, esp. R-compound tires?? I thought A-stock was just any car straight from the factory. It would be more fair that way.

 

AS is a good way to go. The evo is a great platform right out of the box. I placed first in class at our first two local events and would of placed second in street mod. All i have is a k&n drop in filter and a 4point harness. http://tinyurl.com/c8twf
