...sad about my evo...

today i got back my ecu from dyno flash and before that i had it parked at home when i was away...and when i got back i sent in my ecu, and just got it back today and found out that my brother burnt my clutch...

when i put it in first and let go of the clutch, it doesnt stall...

i wanted to test out the ecu tune-up but now i have to wait...

whats the best clutch for evo right now...not too expensive and not too cheap that it breaks when i drive a few miles...

thanks..

i read something about the three disc..any comment on that as well...

Do a search, there's only a million and a half threads on the topic of clutches.

Prostreet online hooked me up with a clutch and a flywheel. The clutch took me a day to get use to it but man it is nice.

Go with a Fidanza flywheel if you do. They're tough, reliable and quite light.

So do you mean to tell us your brother drove your car without the ECU in it?

that sucks about the clutch.

The question I have is...you let your bro drive your car when you're not around? I mean, if he's a great driver, I might agree...but after coming back to a burnt out clutch, I'm guessing he's not. I'd definitely have him chip in for it. The clutches *can* last a long time if people take it easy on them, and they go out quickly if abused...

I'm still stock, but when I upgrade I'm looking at the ACT from all the stuff I've seen. Good price, good performance...unless you are planning on abusing it or running a TON of hp, I don't think there is any need for much more. Even in those cases, the ACT seems to do pretty well.
