i know u had to answer this question proably a million times but how do u get your evo to spit flames,how much are those coilovers have u ever heard of omni coilovers?

 

the only time my evo spites flames is when i hit the rev limiter.
359 wheel hosepower ran a 12.3 at 113

Brakes so far are great... pocono east isnt that hard on them. I will prob have to replace the front pads and fluid soon.

 

My Evo spits flames 2-4 times per lap. I almoast have no paint left around my exhaust tip. When the exhast manifold glows and you have no cat, along with a rich tune from shiv.... you shoot flames. I have heard of Omni coilovers but i dont think they carry the quality that Ohlins do.

 

Good job. I had a very similar experience last weekend. I ran my wife's EVO (basically Buschur stage 2/stock suspension/stock tires) at Midohio for a Porsche PCA driving school. I literally was not passed the entire weekend. Many drivers started coming up to me the second day thinking I had some 500hp monster LOL!

 

That's a great video. Really makes me missing open tracking (gave it up a couple years ago when I had kids).

Kyle, looking good! Were all the other drivers in the same experience group? Were you in the advanced run group?
The only reason I ask is that I am in awe. I sat in a Z06 at Portland, there is no way I could have run with him. I don't have competition tires, just the stock ones, but nevertheless, that Z06 was mighty strong on that track.

Btw, talk about cars that run well, try to follow a NSX sometime. Very humbling
