Thumbs up

I talk to 3 different mitsu dealers today and got 3 different answers. They where all clueless about when there gettin them, and I had prices ranging from 28,800 to 31,900. cause some of the mitsu dealers are puttin on the old dealer mark up cause there a bunch of B*tches, and know that obsesed people like me would pay for it. I hopin that the one dealership that said 28,800 is gonna be more close to the price.

They will help you finance through an outside bank and to Mitsubishi, that's still equivilant to paying cash for the car. There will be no special APR through Mitsubishi though.

No special financing means that Mitsubishi will NOT do any financing on the car, period. I believe this has been stated a couple hundred times now.

Seems kind of strange that wouldn't do any financing at all. That is, afterall, a way for them to make more money on a car. I have never been to a dealer that didn't want you to finance through them. I have even had them match or beat my credit unions financing rate. So, someone explain to me the why they wouldn't finance. It doesn't matter to me if they do or not anyway...I have good credit at all my banks and credit unions.

No special financing means no special rates. My dealer has confirmed that they will be financing, but that could be just through the dealership. In any case, I will shop around.

Oh, this is my first post, so hello!

It's not uncommon at all. has been doing this with all their new and popular models, like the Outlander and Eclipse Spyders. I'm not 100% sure on the reason for lack of financing, but it's not a strange practice at all with .

In regards to the last post, yes, your dealer will be setting up the financing through an outside source, such as a local bank.

There's a difference between "financing throught the dealer" private lending institution) and "financing with Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America" (factory finance institution). The latter will not be offering anything in the way of financing on the Evo which means unless you bring in your own financing to the store you will be doing the former.

I believe that the only thing that has been said before now is that there would not be any SPECIAL financing on the Evo...

I still don't understand why MMCA won't do any financing on the Evo. Seems like it should be offered for every car that they sell. Maybe they figure they got plenty of business already with all of the 0-0-0 they've done on other vehicles.
