Just put a deposit down yesterday for a silver, CF spoiler and sunroof. However, I told them that I want white no sunroof, so they will trade or I will wait for a white one. Drop date of the 13th March. Then depends on how long it will take them to find me what I want.

 

1k down, Silver, sunroof, big wing, MSRP, 3/13

 

$500 down on Apex Silver, CF spoiler, no sunroof. Don't know ETA.
Paying MSRP. Bad thing is that the dealer wants to keep it in their showroom for 3 weeks after it comes in. I don't care as long as they keep it locked, like the Evo they had at the Auto Show. I don't want a bunch of pimply faced 14 year olds spanking their monkeys in my Recaros.
Plus it gives me 3 more weeks to enjoy my Prelude and Mugen exhaust.

I got a deposit down on a Silver one with the big wing and sunroof. My dealer says it'll be in on March 28th.

 

Got 1k on the 1 and only evo coming to my area. All I know is cf wing no sunroof, just the way I want it!

 

I was just wondering if the deposits people are putting down are refundable? I was told by one of my local dealers that their EVO policy is non-refundable. I don't want to commit to any one dealer in case something goes wrong and I need to take my business elsewhere.

I've got a $1,000 deposit down on a black Evo. The deposit it NONREFUNDABLE. They said the only way for the deposit to be refundable is if one were not able to qualify for the car.

 

My $500 deposit is refundable for any reason. I really do not trust a dealership who expects a customer to bet $1000 that they will buy a car unseen, not driven, not delivered and not priced.

Agreed...that's why I am a little hesitant. I am 100% sure I am buying the car, however I just don't know where attm so I don't want to lock myself in with one dealer.

 

I don't have a deposit down but don't need one since I have connections.

Regardless, I am waiting until second shipment at my buddy's dealership so I can get silver as I had requested originally.

What dealership? I have deposit down on a silver, roof, big wing but they are going to try and locate a white, no roof, big wing to trade for it. This is in Beaumont but the salesman said they have dealerships all over.
