why would you go for a ne clutch if the stock one is fine? unless you will never have extra cash again go for a power mod

my first mod to my car was tbe and intake...

arc induction box, helix downpipe, perrin test pipe, hks hi-power catback
may be a bit over 1k with those parts.. but you can choose your parts to your liking... and the parts i chose are most likely not the wisest of decisions... but none the less... to each his own correct?

good luck... and have fun... no matter what... you'll enjoy it

I'm thinking if I wait another month or so I should be able to save up enough to round out the Stage 1.

Thanks again for your suggestions.

Listen to the majority... go with this guys suggestion.. its mine as well and several others I have seen post on your thread. TBE=575, drop in = 75 flahs/tune = 300... might have enough left over to get a MBC to top it off...

How's this for a first post... $500 for a driving class & track days + $500 for new tires at the end of the summer.

4 Toyo RA1 tires, size 255/40/17. They fit the stock wheels and cost about $750 for the set. Get a good cold air intake, like AEM, and you won't have much of your $1,000 left.

How is that supposed to cost 1k? The clutch parts and installation alone will cost 1k.

He also already has a boost gauge. Did you read his post before responding?

exhaust and flash in the mail from AL

exhaust and flash will yield the most HP out of your car at that stage.. adding cams might require installation as I dont know how good you are and that might cost you $300 or so. I would not add cams on a stock EVO... Flash will add ~20WHP and exhaust will add ~10 WHP your top end will shine

Good luck
