Evo crash safety

does anyone here know what the crash safety is on the Evo VIII and Sti. I have a bet with my friend that my evos safer than his STI

because of an airbag? i don't know, i think we have stronger frame and layout is better than the boxer engine layout.

I would like to get the safety test result though...

Perhaps the Evo does better in certain crash testing and the STi does better in other crash testing. After looking at some side damage to an Evo from another post today, I'm amazed at how well the car stayed together. Maybe when Mitsu stiffened up the frame over a regular Lancer, it also made the car stronger?

Wrx's did well in crash testing in consumer reports magazine. Evo did okay in head on, but sucked in side impact.
