Are you going to attach a harness to the crossbar in the back? Looks nice!

Interesting. Where are the diagonal crossbraces that will keep that cage from folding over in the event of a rollover? In fact, I dont' see any diagonals in the design. Also, I don't see any backstays. Backstays are necessary as well. What you've got is not really a true 4 point cage in that the main hoop isn't supported by backstays.

I'm sorry. I'm not trying to hate. I think it's cool that you took this on with your new street car. I haven't found the guts to do that yet... It's just that I feel it's necessary to point out that this rollcage is not an example of an SCCA or FIA approved design.

Propellerhead got a point, what kind of racing are you into and with what club/ organization? The cage you've shown doesn't look legal in any club that I know but maybe drag racing. And if you plan to run that cage one the street, be warn that it will do more harm than good. Remember you aren't wearing helmet on the street and with all those metal tubes around your head......good luck!

yeah while i dont mean to hate, that shiz is not legal, as was pointed out by some pretty serious track nuts in your other thread..... this harness bar of yours would also break your back in half in a serious accident.

congrats. You have made your car more dangerous with that "cage" than before when you had nothing.

No backstays? bends at the front? harness bar WAY too low. No cross-bars???

How much did you pay for this? Who made it? (so others can stay far far away from them)
