1 that won't crack & that can handle at least 2000 degrees F on a regular basis. also look for the thickest flanges possible. JIC makes a nice piece but it'll cost you.

here's one, i saw a guy at a car show that had one on his car for two years and he said no cracks. there were some surface rust though.

i got a used JIC thermal coated manifold, awsome peice! quicker spool and a very noticble midrange boost of power! send pm if your interested-= ) its got about 10k miles on it, i switched it for a RnR gt35r kit or else i would be still using it -= (

I second the Ron Shearer manifold. I run one of his on my GSX. It picked up 17 whp on just the manifold alone with the same setup and same boost.

Stock turbo manifold flows best for the stock turbo. You dont even have to port it. An extrude-honed stock exhaust manifold only made 2.5whp @ 6000 rpms, which basically shows that it flows fine.

There, I saved you $800.

so changing to an aftermarket exhaust manifold will not help at all with quicker spool or lag?

yeah it will, I know a few in my club that love the aftermarket one. The best for the stock turbo is to get it jet coated and ported.
