That Goo Gone works well. Those orange based solvants work -- just look for a product that says will not harm paint on cars.

Goo gone and wd-40 seem to be the most common.

Follow it up with a good wash & wax.

Slightly off topic, but what is clay bar, how do I use it, and where do I get it? I sometimes use Megauirs Scratch-X, is it like that?

hahaha i made of thread on this on the show & part. many replies:goo-gone, wd-40, blow-dryer, 3m adhesive remover, brake cleaner, fishlines, dental floss, even peanut butter...but the one that came up most was goo-gone. mine came off by putting on wd-40, blow dry it a little and wipe with cotton towel. it took like an hour, good luck!

hey the best way to get off the foam tape is to , use the rubber side of a (tire Valve stem).

Place the threaded end into a drill and use low speed to remove the tape.

Plus the rubber will not scrach the paint either.
