Infinity G35?
well look @ your local mitsu dealer and your local mitsu dealer, here in oahu( hawaii) we have only one of each and it's like living in a luxury mansion compared to the ghetto
INFINITI makes cars, infinity makes speakers
to answer your question, they're a nice combination of luxury and sport...IMO, one of the best looking cars on the road. modding them isn't easy but its easy to be satisfied with their performance out of the box.
occasionally when i am home, i'll drive my father's... its nice, feels a bit isolated for my taste, but its quick and it gets a TON of looks. i parked it at an acura dealership once when bringing a friend to check out cars. over the course of 20 minutes, 3 women came up to me to talk about it. it certainly gets more looks than the evo.
here's my dad's car behind my evo

Nice Cars.
I work at an Infiniti dealer, have them check for outstanding recalls, one sticks out in my mind is a gas tank update if it is hard to fill, several others out there. There is a BIG update on the brake rotors/pads if you are having judder. Even if you are wearing out pads too fast. Inf covers it- I'll have to say for the 8 lux car lines here, Infiniti is the best in covering items under warranty. And if you "whine" after you are out.... well its ok- they seem to repair MUCH under "Goodwill"-

A G35 was actually on my list of cars when I was shoping around, I love the looks of it and girls seem to be attracted to it also.
But for me it was a little to slow and didnt seem like a car that should be modified, it just seemed like I would get bored with it very quickly. Thats why I went with my evo, I can modify the hell out of this thing and it will never get boring, i will probally never be able to out drive this car

I have talked the wife into a new G35 coupe. We both drove one and liked it. It's quick and has a very good ride for a sporty car. I'm just waiting on Infiniti to run a deal on these.
It's a poodle car; luxury cars that pose as "sports car" have only one purpose: to get the girls to lower their panties faster. Me, I'll stick with my "driver's car", my beloved Evo.

If his objective is to keep up with you in the EVO, modify the car for high performance, etc., he shouldn't get it unless he wants to spend a lot of money.
If his objective is to have a nice, comfy, stlylish car that handles well and is reasonably fast, then it's a great option.
Things I like about it:
-- It's comfortable for longer drives and for getting stuck in traffic. The automatic shifts quick and smoothly, the 6MT is nice too, but it's as annoying as any manual in bumper-to-bumper traffic.
-- It handles well and stops well. On the back roads to work it is entertaining. It handles really well now that I've put 275/40/18 tires on all four wheels, getting rid of the understeer inducing factory stagger of 225 front and 245 rear.
-- Respectable, if not fast. 14.7 @98 MPH with a 3700 lb race weight
-- I did have two issues with it, the gas tank and warped front rotors issue that the Infiniti tech mentioned in this thread. The sales and service experience has been exemplary.
Funny, my wife prefers to drive the EVO over the G35C, but she rarely gets caught in traffic. I prefer the EVO for weekend fun and country road excursions.

Everyone keeps saying how slow they are which is not true at all stop reading specs and actually race one, forget about quarter mile if you catch one from 3rd gear on they are not that "slow" at all.
