I was just thinking of it as a way to get the aftermarket mods faster, say I sell the stock parts, then I am half way to getting the ones I really want... I just don't want to be a dumbass and sell them, then for some reason need them again. I don't know about all of you guys but I won't ever trade in a car unless it's paid for or I am desperate and no dealer could offer me enough to take the car that I love SO much... The only other question is what kind of money to stock parts fetch? I wouldn't think there is a high demand for them I mean, who MODS there car to be STOCK haha. I would get a CF hood if I could get rid of the stock on fairly easily, I would never sell the stock wheels because I need those for winter, the stock exhaust must not be THAT expensive, who wants a bad clutch...

And I would think you would have an easier time selling good used aftermarket parts than stock ones.

Exhaust might be kind of a ***** to keep around, but stuff like oem cams, cat, turbo, radio, etc might come in handy someday.
I strongly second this. I had to return my Audi to stock when the insurance totaled it, and I was so glad I kept the old stuff.

Hang them on my wall and put a tag underneath showing how much money I spent on replacing them.

I save mine so I can put the car back to stock if I sell it. Also, if any of my aftermarket parts get damaged (intercooler, exhaust, etc.) I have replacements ready.

I'd sell if anybody wanted any of this stuff. I have two complete turboback systems, but no one wants those for even the cost of shipping. I sold a stock leather shift knob, but stock cams? Rotors? cat? exhaust? No one wants them b/c that's the first thing people do and there's plenty of EVOs getting wrecked every day so stock parts aren't that hard to come by. Stick them under your bed.

I keep all stock parts so when I go for my maintenance and inspections I won't have any problems at the dealership. I know it's a pain to install and uninstall everything, but it's worth the warranty.

I know my last car I SOLD EVERYTHING and when it came time for me to put it back to stock and sell it boy what a ***** that was
basically I spent a chunk of change just on the stock parts

I might just sell all the parts and only keep the stock intake and stock cat(need the cat for emissions anyway)
but everything else Im thinking is outta herrrr

Sell, or give them... Last resort, throw them away.
Since I know I'll never ever go back to stock.

This issue is a problem. I have literally tons of parts and have used only a few over the years. If you keep them you seldom need them but just sell one and I'll let you guess what will happen. As mentioned in the first response in the thread, Smog tests and selling the car may require going back to stock. If I can keep mine I do.
