I was just curious for all the owners who have been bitten by the mod bug, where do you keep your stock parts, or do you sell them? Why or why not.

Even though my car is stock except for the radio...I suggest keeping the parts. Put them in the attic, basement, etc. My thinking being that if you ever want to sell the car, you can return the car to stock, or near stock state if need be at buyers request, and then sell the aftermarket parts and get some return on your investment. And I would think you would have an easier time selling good used aftermarket parts than stock ones.

Exhaust might be kind of a ***** to keep around, but stuff like oem cams, cat, turbo, radio, etc might come in handy someday.

I either sold them, gave them away or thew them out. I suggest only doing this if you don't plan to go back to stock, ever.

I'm keeping all of mine so if I ever get the chance to trade up I can put mine back to stock, sell it, get the new car, and reinstall.

Try and keep them, sell them now, but in the long run you will break your neck trying to find the stock parts you need.

i think if you financed the car, you don't own any of the stock parts yet so i think you should hang on to them

I thought I was going to keep my DSMs forever, and then the EVO came out. I really wish I kept all my stock parts! I learned my lesson. It was a b*tch hunting down all the stock parts to get my car to pass smog. I'm keeping all my stock parts. Once something better comes out, it might persuade you to sell your car.

keep them with all of my other stock parts from different cars.

one day, i'll have a hybrid of a car with all the different stock parts.

I already have an intake, seats, tail-lights, headlights, rails, lights and suspension components.
