Paul, your website is pretty much hands down the most nicely done website ive ever seen.

What is your affiliation with avoturboworld?

Pretty close right now with the Japanese office run by prodigal son Ross Wilson. I'm working on bringing them into the international market by working on a few areas like bringing them up to speed on the incredible new Internet Age.
Ask and complain away - I've got a thick skin, and want to get things moving in the right direction! We work under a simple premise right now, we are in Japan (rather permanently) and have access to nearly all other parts (as well as AVO's own) available here. So just building up the online store by listening to the best critics of them all, the customers.

Thanks for the good words towards Sevenphotos - it's my outlet towards the photos I take for a variety of magazines right now. I do a lot of event coverage here in Japan, along with new car tests (and tuner car tests), and like to get the information up on the web eventually, as a lot of stuff goes to European or Australian print magazines.

Cheers,

Paul Hansen

heres a bit of feedback about AVO.

the quality of your turbo kits are second to none. it really is impressive. the only problem with them is they use a gt40 turbo, which is WAAAAY too oversized for 99% of the stock displacement evos running around.

if you guys came out with a turbo kit using a gt3037s, or a gt35r turbo, i bet you guys would sell a LOT more of them. The fact that your kit uses a cast manifold that retains the stock heatshield is HUGE.

Two camera bodies now, but the main is the Canon 20D that will hold me till I save up for a 1D mII. Most shots are with either a 70-200 or 300 F4L - the Skyline GT-R shots are almost exclusively with the 300F4.

That's interesting, actually, since I know they could (and have) used the GT35 in several other kits, and more than likely have one, or could adapt one to their Evo kit. If everybody hadn't pissed off for a trade show in Taiwan, I'd ask about that one. Will when they get back.

Thanks.

If you guys had a kit with a 3037s with the .63 a/r, youd have a customer immediately me. like i said, no one has yet to match the quality of the AVO turbo kit. The manifold and the o2 housing are pretty darn impressive

70-200 F2.8L non-IS - since I'm either shooting action (motorsports) or with a tripod (photoshoots), I couldn't justify paying literally double the price (here in Japan). That said, I may end trading it in towards an IS version if I can buy it in the states.

GT35, checked, and available. 3037s? I'll put the enquiry in towards the mothership - I wager they do have it, and it's just not listed anywhere easy to see. That's been the biggest problem I've been working to fix with them.
