I just got a vortex generator to kind of spice up the outside of the car. I'm a little concerned about the paint underneath. It looks like water would get trapped and mess up the paint (as the paint kind of sucks).....has anybody taken theirs off and checked out the paint??

i did after 4 months of use. nothing changed. but with longer periods of time, the paint wont fade like the rest of the car

 

when you took it off how did you remove the double sided tape... that stuff is viscious.

 

Did you get the OEM one or Carbon-fiber like the one we cary ?

 

surprisingly not. it stayed on the generator when i peeled it up.

 

OEM.....I actualy got it a long time ago when they were only being imported a few at a time and lost it in storage. The directions are in Japanese. I like the carbon-fiber one you carry better but I dont think it existed at that time.
