Exclamation Just bought a new EVO RS (red)

Hello,

Just another happy owner of a new EVO RS 05.....The car is amazing. I put 1000 miles on it in 2 weeks and did my first oil change(the oils was black like mud?!)

Maybe its my immagination but the car seems "slower" now then when new....?
It just does not pull as hard....maybe I'm just getting used to the power?
Did anyone experience the same issue? or feeling?

Besides that its probably the best all around car I have driven....(I drove a Viper96, Vette05 etc.)..

Also, I am debating if I should mod the car?

Suggestions?

Thanks

Where are you located. I saw a Red RS with dealer plates on it last week in the East Bay.

Its your imagination.
You are getting used to the power.
Everyone does.
Mod the car if you don't want a warranty ....
Personally I wouldn't mod the car but learn how to drive it and drive it well ...

i actually feel as if the car is getting faster as it breaks in, mine is a '03 nad has 2700 miles on it now....

it possibly could be cuz the rear tires were underinflated for sometime, and i didnt realize it...

I really hope it's not because you were too hard on the engine during the breakin period.

I brought it up to 6K couple of times.....Some people say it's a good practice to "beat" your car at break in.....

mod or not? it's all up to you!!! you don't need opinion on this, if you want to make it faster you mod it or if you think it's good enough and don't want to void the warranty then don't.
