i want to know rates too. i got mine to go down to 175 from 450 im under 21 and its a high risk vehicle so they asked me to pay 450 i said naw im cool keeping 450 in my pocket. 450 is another payment on another vehicle i told them i could purchase a lexus and pay 450 a month for it. plus i told them i work 12 hours a day so my car is not on the road all day causing accidents it sits in the parking lot at work for 12 hours den 1 hr drive back home then garage kept for the remaining hours of the day. this pattern goes on for 6 days of the week. also i have multiple cars under one adress so they decided to drop the price to 175 i did good with them. i like the handling of my evo but i cant forget my 300 runs at the track in byron illinois it runs 10s or i should say ran. i blew my motor not too long ago..im going to have the engine rebuilt. i should have my Z warrior back on the road killing vipers in about 3 months. so back to it congrats on your car.....oh get all the poonani u can at that age i was getting as much poonani i could in my Z so u take that advantage also. stay safe though and if you must.....pull out.:thumbsup"
I'm 18, and was 17 when I got my Evo, my insurance is around 100 dollars a month + or - a few dollars (I dunno how much my dad's last ticket raised our insurance, but family insurance plans still kick ***
)
Oh, and congrats on the Evo

yeah 450 per month dont u think you can purchase a damn lexus and pay 450 per month? thats what i told them i said look here mister state farm agent. 450 is another monthly payment on a car man? yeah 450 per month got down to 175 a month...remember in under 21 and driving a high risk car with "high risk driver" cause of the under 21 thing. oh car is under my name and unsurance is under my name also. plus the other car under one address discount got me down to 175 from 450. still think its too high djmikey? i dont know man i said 175 a month is a hell of a lot better than 450 a month

This is a lot different than you just walking in on your own, and this is why you didn't get the "test drive" hassle. They of course let me drive my MR the day I came in to buy it...it was going to be my car as soon as the paperwork was done.
Congrats on having a dad willing to buy you a world-class rally car at the age of 16.
Enjoy every minute of it, but do your best to be careful and not make your dad regret it.
