Greddy BOV

Question?

Just had a Greddy bov installed and am noticing that when I come out of gear to slow down, my idle drops real..... low - almost to stall but then comes back up to normal. Which way should I adjust the valve (allen nut) to correct this issue? Soft or is hard or tight - Can't remember.

Thanks for the help!

Also, my boost is set at 20 psi. My current mods are just the drop in filter, ebc, greddy catback - Is this amount of boost too much or fine? (I don't get on it that much but want to make sure it's ok when I do)

No one has much like with that valve. Run a search, you may be able to help it alittle by adjusting the nut, but I doubt it.

Are you running vta or rec. ?? If your running vta then your idle is going to drop since the maf sensor is reading diff what is actually going in and confused the ecu but i would rec. going rec Thats the best Way

i have that same problem, but i never had it before i installed my injen intake. i dont think its the greddy, as i have a type s and it was perfectly fine with the stock intake, but not loud enough for me. so i went with the injen and it drops real low coming out of gear...

I'm currently recirculating. I called the guy that installed the bov and he said to tighten the nut, so I did, but it didn't help.

I didn't have this issue with the stock bov so there's got to be a way to correct this.

You can't expect it to behave like the stock BOV...you replaced it so that it WOULDN'T be the same, right? These things happen when you mess with parts unnecessarily.

it's on a bit too tight, turn it to soft...but make sure you're still hitting 20 psi of boost after you adjust it...if your ebc is set to 20 and you adjust it and run let's say 17, then you've turned it too loose...it's lots of playing around.
