Works VS Dynoflash

Im debating either get a dynoflash soon or save up and get the works flash. The works flash is like 3x the price, but you get what you pay for right? so i wanted some feedback between these two flashes. A buddy of mine has the Works flash and is telling me its worth every dollar and his top end has improved amazingly.

not necessarily in this case. My opinion the Dynoflash is the most proven and tested one there is. Loook how many people got it! And Al is ****ing awsome at doin it. He made so much more power outta my friends new evo he just got all he did was catback intake boost control and i was impressed with what the reflash did for him. very impressed.

yea, but Works in my book, is 1 of the best at what they do. And i hear good things about dynoflash so i wanted some feedback before i go with one of these flashes. Works-600, Dynoflash-200

I would like to know as well. I think there are threads for these questions being asked before.
A friend of mine had the ecu flashed by Dynoflash and it was inexpensive. I'm thinking of going either Works P2 or Vishnu Flash. Since I live in S.Cali. I also considered RMR. They have a place where they send people to get their evos. flashed. But the price is a bit more than Vishnu's.
Also, it depends on what you want to do with your car I guess? Vishnu and Works are more road racing and Dynoflash is more Drag?

i think bang for buck though dude, i would go with AL even if Works is better at what they do, do you really think they are gonna yank that much more power worth $600 to you?

hmm good point, but who knows? if dynoflash gives me like 20whp and works pulls out 60whp (exaggerating) that'd be awesome, also does Al's flash improve top end drastically?

i think the works flash is overpriced, or in a better perspective the dynoflash is way under priced. I think when it comes to reflashing ecu's they are both pretty knowledgable. Since dynoflash works almost exclusively on ecu's, i think he's just as accomplished if not more so than Works. I do not have either because i decided to go with a stand alone so I am not waving any flags as a loyal customer or anything.

Go Dynoflash.

Just remember to get the before and after dyno sheets.

The stock tune leaves so much to be desired on the topend that any leaning out up top will easily give 20 more ponies over stock. it'd be safe to since our cars run really rich up high anyway.

I think from what i've seen dynoflash runs less boost in general for more advanced ignition timing, which i believe gives more low and midrange torque. I could be wrong. Vishnu tunes like my car is tuned, lots of boost less timing.

The dynoflash is worth the price I paid at the Shootout.

not sure what u already have on your Evo but for the price difference... get an intake or downpipe with HF cat and the dynoflash and you still save about $100-200 and pull as hard, if not, harder than your friend.

Currently, I have Al's mail-in flash and it has been outstanding! I just recently had the GSC 272/264 cams combo installed still using Al's mail-in. Even in this state the car runs GREAT! The idle is rock steady and performance is still VERY good even without re-tuning. I am highly impressed with the Dynoflash product and have already signed up for Al's custom tune.

I completely recommend Dynoflash.

A local member (who has since sold his evo) had buschur stg 1 + works 269 cams and throttle body + Works flash. At the time I was just buschur stage 1 + Dynoflash. We were dead even on the highway through 3rd gear until he pulled on me like 1 car or so at the top. That's it. I'm sure with my cams added and new custom Dynoflash vs. his similar mods I'd eat him alive. It seems to me that the Works combos are good for conservative power, and working well together smoothly. I'm a firm believer in Dynoflash (especially Al's custom tuning), based on my experiences.

I would echo the others thoughts that both are very good. Al's seems to be priced very well considering you can get a custom flash for the same price as Works mail in. Also, Al or Dynoflash has done over 650 cars. That's experience-

I have:

1- TBE 3"
2- MBC
3- Walboro Fuel Pump
4- Cams
5- K&N Intake

and will get Flashed by AL, in two weeks. I will rape anything that comes in my way. I researched and talked with all kind of different people about this issue and everyone that had AL's Flash smoked the rest. I am set on AL Flash....

Go with AL's Flash...
