They can't void your whole warranty only parts that are modded. And check up may not be full technically. Like the first checkup is fluids which they will do and oild change they will do but the other part is Check/Replace Filter but if you have aftermarket they won't do that.

I'm not even sure what a free checkup is. I get free maintenance at 5k intervals, but that's only because I bought an 05 during the promotional period. If you didn't get this promotion with your 04, then I don't know what free checkups you are talking about. If you do get that for some reason, then it should not be related to the warranty and should be covered regardless of mods.

They'll do the work but they also may take notes on what you have done.

It's not automatic, because it depends on your dealer's service department. Likely, the MBC will do it, but the other stuff shouldn't. You should not have gotten rid of the stock parts, because it's extremely easy to just switch back to stock before going to the dealer for service. So, you lost your stock intake and bov? Haha.

i think by free "check ups" he is talking about the 5000 mile interaval free maintenance. mitsu offered it to 04 models too and to answer his question, no they will not stop giving you the free maintenance even if they void your warranty due to your mods.

I suggest you to find out what's in the "check up" list. You may able to do it yourself easy.

The last thing you want to happen is to go in for a free "check up" and come out with a "**** up" (void warranty).
