Blow off valves???

Has anybody tried the Agency BOV or the APS BOV? I wanna get one of the two but want to make sure nobody has had problems with these two. They look like high quality BOV. They also look hot too!!

I have the APS. Nice high quality unit. No problems at all and it installed in about 10 minutes. Hope that helps.

why not the gofastbits.. considering its fully adjustable in all aspects. I fail to see how any valve could be better then this one. You can run full recirculate and increase VTA% by increments of 10%.. no removing springs or anything like that.

I would definately stay a mile away from anything made by vivid.

check out the differnce in crafstman ship.. personally i think the APS looks like junk. Its not even adjustable. Look at the spring tensioner knob on top of the GFB.. the hose piece swivels.. and it is evo specific. Plus the trumpets unscrew so you can run 3 different sounds and turn it to full recirculate when need be.

I wont even talk about the agency power one.. considering vivid lied to me telling me i was getting unorthodox pulleys and they sent me their cheap agency power clone garbage instead.

i have this bov and have had 0 problems with it. the fact that it is fully adjustable is a nice feature too. this is the one i would recommend.

"The BOV, DV, or CBV (Compressor Bypass Valve) may be able to minimize lag depending on how efficiently and quickly the valve or piston returns to it's seat as you get back on the throttle and begins sealing the positve boost pressure. Design, quality, and set-up will all contribute to this and after testing all of the brands and models available in the U.S., the GFB Stealth FX proves to be the most functional, reliable, and user friendly. The spring tension can be adjusted by hand without replacing springs or using shims, and the 16-position proportioning valve adjustmet is also adjusted by hand on-the-fly from full recirc to full VTA and everything in between.
It's a complete 100% drop-in piece that we QC and preset (for EVOs) before we ship to you with WORKS and GFB install and adjustment instructions. If you purchase the Stealth FX here on-site, we'll install it for FREE!
Hope this helps". .. from worksrally
