just want to see some videos or sound clips of different bov's, kinda want one that sounds good, yet holds boost good. im only looking at pushing 20-21 psi
and yes i know, sound doesnt matter, its all about performance, but a bov is somthing that makes me smile, and happy that i have a turbo. haha

what do they mean by "open body" on the last vid of the evo? also, do these bovs sound the same on the evo, cause it shows a bunch of cars besides the evo?
and lets say i got a flash, would i need to get it reflashed beucase of the bov? and which ones require little work? recommend me a bov

 

There's absolutely no reason you would need to be re-tuned for a BOV... it doesn't effect anything unless your previous BOV was not working properly.

BOVs sound different on every application. Different amounts of pressure, different spring loads, different BOV settings, different locations of placement of the BOV, different types of pipes, recirculated/VTA/hybrid, etc. all play a factor in the different sounds a BOV makes.

Every BOV, especially for our Evo's, requires little work.

Everyone's gonna recommend whatever BOV they currently have... whether it be the GReddy unit, HKS unit, Blitz unit, TurboXS unit, etc. etc. etc.

Get what you want and what you like... also plan ahead in case you get upper intercooler piping... most piping have flanges already on them for a certain type of BOV.
