I think that you need to spend a significant amount of time reading and learning about this car before you start launching and replacing parts, or you will surely run into problems on your new car very soon...

Buddy, you better put your firefighter gear on! Anyhow, the manual recommends waiting 600 or so miles before reving the car up above 5K. I'd wait until 1,000 miles. Then the motor will be broken in and so will the clutch. If you want to launch the car, be prepared to pay some money for a clutch very soon!

Well i do know more about cars than most of you probably do. But not all of you, i just never owned a turbo nor awd car, but i do know alot about evo's and cars in general. I just felt like sounded like an idiot. I do know that they have to be broken in, i just wanted verification. Thanks though. And im far from a ricer, i see so many evo's on here with the ugliest body kits ever made, worst than honda's and all of you guys rave over them. Evos should be left completely stock, looks wise. They are amazing looking cars and dont need to be touched.
