the latest information from the owner of the mitsubishi dealer i work at, is that the evo will be arriving at our dealer february 25th, it is a dealer in northern california.

---supposedly i might be seeing the new 04 endeavor tommorrow, sunday the 16th, most reveiws consider that mitsubishis highest quality vehicle ever produced in the us... my general sales manager just saw the galant 'sss', it is already deisgned off the same chasis, and will have the 3.8v6 and you wont even recognize it, asside from being roomier inside than our diamante, and more powerful, and lighter... it has an amazing looking interior, and the tail lights are molded into the spoiler...---

the latest on the evo boost is that it isnt in fact over 19psi, it reaches its peak psi at more like 18.5, not a huge difference, but lower boost getting the same power obviously means more potential.....

 

how does the 2004 Galant look like? do you have a pic? cuz if it looks bad, im going to go pick up a 2003 Galant instead.

 

So how does the taillights look like? Since its molded to the spoiler? Does the front end look like the Outlanders grill?

Does it look anything like the Silver vehicle shown here:

 

SO what does that mean? We get the offical MSRP on the 25th Dont' know what's taking so long considering the car is arriveing within 3 weeks?

Hopefully mine will arrive before the 3rd of March. I would never expect a 03 car to come so late during the year. Most 03 cars comes in fall and they might as well call it a 04 to save us from yearly depreciation. But the bright side is that our year and model number will match japans but I dont' really see a point if Mitusubishi plans to give us a cheaper version anyways.

Thank for the info anyways. Sorry my patience is growing very thin considering i've waited over a year and it'll probably be spring until we see the car. At this point it wouldn't surprise me if they delayed it another month.

 

dude if thats the new Galant, then i better pick up an 03 Galant FAST!!!! that silver 04 galant is Fugly. soon i think only the eclipse and evo will be the only good looking mitsubishis left.

Actually the 4G Eclipse is about to come during 2005. So I hope they don't **** it up like the most recent cars they announced (Except the Evo) . Seems like Mitsubishi has some sort of obsession towards this new "corporate design" on their grills. Their making CAR's look like SUV's with that new grill design. Specially on the Galant.

 

Maybe the new eclipse will look like this? Oh yeah i just want to comment that I hate the mitsubishi triangle grill. The best part is that I think they hired the headlight designer form subaru

I'm buying an evo because it's one of a few japanese sports car that has a normal headlight j/k

 

all i know, is that they are messing up all their models, if i dont get this new Galant 03 in time. im going to have to go to Subaru and get the 2004 Impreza. sorry mitsubishi, your digging your own hole.

 

I really hope Mitsubishi dosn't screw up the Eclipse with that "corporate" ****.

They should just use the FTO as the new 4G eclipse. I would of designed the Ralliart lancer to look like an evo 7 without the fenders. That will probably sell just because it'll look good.

I heard all this same crap when the 02' Galant came out. Then again when the 03' Eclipse came out and yet again when the Outlander debuted and all those trash-talkers were wrong. Very, very wrong.

 

Mark, you forgot to mention the EVO 7. I remember how many people complained how ugly it was.
At least Mitsubishi has decided who they are and aren't looking back. As of right now its working damn well too.
