Unhappy Help!!!

okay, well i had a post up here a while ago about the film on the front of my car, and i took it off, it left like SCRATCHES??!?! what do i do? ill have pictures up in a little. like while pulling the tape, whenever i stopped, thats where it left marks! help!

Are you sure its scratches? It might be adhesive residue. Try rubbing a small amount of WD40 on it with a soft cloth. (spray the WD40 on the cloth, not the car) WD40 is an excellent adhesive remover (bumperstickers, etc) and is safe for the paint as long as you dont put a ton of it on there and leave it forever.

edit: It will also remove all the wax (if there is any) so remember to polish+wax when you're done.

Try nail polish remover, but becareful not to rub to hard or leave it on for a while. Do it at your own risk, I had something on my car that wouldnt come off, and it came off with that.

Dame, just try a lil spot with the remover and see if it works. I didnt think it was that bad.

Don't go nuclear yet.

Just try regular auto wax first. Usually works with a little extra rubbing.

Only go to that other stuff mentioned when regular wax won't work.
